Look under the wing of this airplane and you will see the solar car that is traveling around the world! Just when you thought gas prices were getting out of hand….. here is a slice from Louis Palmer the idea man…
“On 3 July 2007 I set off on my first journey around the world with a solar powered vehicle. Admittedly, as a regular citizen I cannot change the world but I can demonstrate to the world just how dire the global climate situation has become and how many sophisticated solutions to lower the greenhouse gases already exist, which bring with them many other advantages. So that we can have a better world and a more secure future. The solar taxi should rekindle hope and a zest for life, set an example to counteract resignation and stimulate reflection. And show that every single one of us can take a step towards preserving our planet.”

How are you all? Time just seems to have evaporated. I’ve been reading some of Deepak Chopra’s book and I really like his seven spiritual laws especially chapter four, “applying the law of least effort” - he advises maybe not sleep all day but just accept things they way they are…. so with that thought…..enjoy the sunny sunshine!

A new fish was on display at the famous car show in Detroit it is by Chinese Designer Tang Hua who designed three vehicles this one is called “Detroit Fish”. You can drive it in and out of the water. It looks like he had fun and it runs on batteries. At least he has a sense of humour!

The ocean is large place and like outer space we have yet to discover all the unique living creatures. This picture is of a type of angler fish which walks and probably talks in is own language. This fish has a face that is well camouflaged but you will notice that is eyes are like similar to our eyes and unlike a typical fish where the eyes are on either side of the body.
“Several times I saw these fish work themselves through an opening that seemed much smaller than the fish, sometimes taking a minute or more to get all the way through,” says David Hall, an underwater natural history photographer who was able to dive with Maluku Divers and take additional photos of the new find. “They must have pretty tough skin to keep from being scraped and cut, but there is no evidence of superficial injury or scars in my photographs.”sighted in Indonesian waters off Ambon Island. Thanks to Quirks & Quarks for the information and Dr. Ted Pietsch, from the University of Washington.
